Submissions

The Napkin Poetry Review accepts unsolicited submissions of poetry, cultural criticism, book reviews, and art direction concepts to our email napkinpoetryreview@gmail.com. As an interdisciplinary journal, we appreciate submissions with insights crossing arts and sciences.

Deadline for submissions is February 29th, 2024.

All submissions must be in English and previously unpublished. Translations are acceptable and should be accompanied by a copy of the original text. Simultaneous submissions are also accepted, but kindly notify us if the manuscript is accepted for publication elsewhere. Though we accept all types of poetry from formal to experimental, we suggest that our submitters acquaint themselves with previous publications of the magazine.

Please submit no more than three poems at a time. Please be sure to include contact information and a brief cover letter and poet biography (max. 150 words) alongside your submission.

Given the volume of submissions we receive, we kindly ask that you allow for sufficient time to thoroughly review and respond to all entries. We will send you a receipt to confirm your submission and will later follow up with an update on acceptance status.
